Most recently Lip Flap Productions won a 2011 Silver Telly as DP for the Pink Ribbon Story
Foundation. The award was given for the trailer for the documentary "Breast Cancer Memoir". This is our second Telly
Award. We also were part of the coverage of the flooding in Memphis/Mississippi for Fox News and the tornado outbreak
in Alabama for NBC and The Weather Channel. In 2010 we covered the Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil leak. We
traveled to the Gulf coast through out the spring and summer for Fox News, ABC News and APTN until the leak was capped.
Lip Flap Productions has finished our fourth project for Children's HealthCare of Atlanta,
an informational video about their Cystic Fibrosis unit. The video provides crucial information about the services Children's
provides for children with CF and relates the stories of families who benfitted from the excellent care provided by Children's. We
have shot & produced three other videos for Children's in the past 8 years.
In cooperation with Globe TV & Bernard Shakey, Lip Flap shot the
Atlanta segment of the Neil Young documentary "CSNY/Deja Vu" which went in to limited release on July
25, 2008. The documentary received critical acclaim at the Sundance, Sydney and Berlin Film Festivals.
